Security and Insurance
You have to expect non-conform conditions on board of the Cap San Diego like steep and narrow stairs and gangways, high doorsteps and slippery and uneven floors – and only marginal signs and warnings! Please be aware of these risks, use adequate footwear and use the hand rail on gangways and stairs. With your registration you confirm that you have read this safety instruction and that the conference organizers cannot accept liability for personal injuries sustained or for loss or damage to participants' (or companions') personal property during the conference.
If you have any handicap which might impede your ability to enter the ship, please let us know in advance (!), we will provide professional help.
Participants are asked not to leave their belongings unattended and to wear their conference badges at all DIPAC2011-sponsored events.
Contributions for publication only are not permitted, hence any paper accepted for presentation, but not subsequently presented at the workshop, will be excluded from the proceedings. Furthermore, the Program Committee reserve the right to refuse for publication work not properly presented at the poster sessions.
With your registration you give the organizers the permission to publish photos of the conference on the DIPAC2011 website which might show your person. If you want to retract this permission, please send an e-mail at dipac2011@desy.de with "I do not give the permission to publish a photo of my person on the DIPAC2011 website or elsewhere". However, a usual photo of the group of participants will be published but you are free to miss the group photo session.
You also give the organizers the permission to publish your name and affiliation within the "List of Participants". If you want to retract this permission, please send an e-mail at dipac2011@desy.de with "I do not give the permission to publish my name on the list of participants of DIPAC2011".
